So I thought I would start by explaining the title of my blog and what it means to me. "One life to live" are lyrics from the the song "One" by the Irish rock band U2 (I specify because believe it or not I actually have a friend who did not know who they were, *shame*).
I posted a YouTube video a while ago [link], a tribute of sorts to the song and why I think it's special...so I won't really elaborate too much here. Basically, my goal in life is to never forget or take advantage of my mortality and live every day to the fullest of its opportunities and beautifulness. I feel like the little things in life tend to get pushed into the shadows or forgotten in terms of how they affect us. I truly think the "little things" make life so beautiful. Smiles from a stranger, a hug from a dear friend, and silly things like watching your pet cat go A-wall for no reason (what do they see that we don't?).
My goal for this blog is personal yet open. I just want a place to divulge my thoughts, feelings, opinions, and conspiracies ;). I feel that it is important for people to always learn from each other so hence the openness.
